cannot sync iphone5s

I have gone abroad with iPhone 5a and windows 8.1 ASUS laptop. my iPhone was synced last in uk on my PC, so here in India when I try to sync iTunes says it needs to delete all files on my iPhone, so how can I get round this to enable me to transfer photos to laptop.

I understand there is an app out there somewhere, whereby I can transfer files to PC, but cannot find it, I got Jumi, but it seems to only allow PC to iPhone which is not what I want.

regards

Hello terryob777,

If you want to import photos from your iPhone to your PC, you will not need iTunes to import it in. What you will use is Windows Explorer and your iPhone will show up like a camera and you can view them there. Then all you have to do is drag and drop them where you want them to be stored. Take a look at the link below and it will have more information if you get stuck.
